    The Equipment Operator (EO) works under the direction of the Lead Equipment Operator. This position assists all areas of the Preserve with maintenance projects, usually requiring the assistance of a trained equipment operator. The EO ensures that work is conducted in a safe and efficient process. All tasks are performed in alignment with the vision, mission, and core values of the Preserve.

    The Finance Director - Treasurer is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the Town of Mount Desert, with a strong emphasis on financial management, accounting integrity, investment strategy, and prudent financial planning. This role will require a deep understanding of municipal finance, and preferably, audit experience.

    For Mount Desert Nursing Association patients assigned to his/her care, and in accordance with standards of practice, the Registered Community Health Nurse (RN) is responsible for agency patient initial and on-going assessments.  He/she works with the patient in the development and implementation of the plan of care and evaluates its effectiveness.  The CHN reports to the Director of Clinical Services or Clinical Supervisor as assigned and supervises the Home Health Aides and LPNs as assigned to their clinical patients.

    The MDNA currently has one non-benefit, non-exempt, 16-hour a week position in Northeast Harbor, Maine. 

    Wage: Commensurate with experience.

    The Mount Desert Water District is seeking a person who has the ability to become a licensed Grade III Treatment and Grade II Distribution Operator. The ideal candidate will have experience/technical degree in a related field. Able to control high-tech equipment with advanced computer technology. MS Office, GIS Mapping experience/education, laboratory documentation and mechanical aptitude is required. The MDWD offers a competitive salary and benefit package.
